In his previous position, he was involved in opening a Tokyo office and launching operations in the Japanese market for the U.S.-based private-equity investment advisory firm Hamilton Lane.
At Hamilton Lane, he was involved in a wide range of business activities, including investments advising for major Japanese institutional investors, focusing mainly on investments in European and North American private equity funds, and in soliciting institutional investors for private equity funds managed by the company. After his departure, he was asked by Hamilton Lane to serve as outside consultant. In June 2011, he started the event e-commerce site machicon JAPAN. In December of the same year, he established LINKBAL Inc.

After working at the M&A intermediator Alliance Co., Ltd., he joined the Web service provider Onlife Co., Ltd., where he participated in launching several new businesses.
Later, participated in the founding of Solad Co., Ltd. and provided support for the startup of new businesses targeting major corporate clients.
He is a founding member of LINKBAL Inc., where he served as Senior Manager, Business Development, Executive Secretary, and Senior Manager, Platform Business before assuming his current position.

He opened the Kariyasu Law Office after joining the Tokyo Bar Association as attorney.
He has served in various roles, including Assistant Professor and Part-time Instructor at the Keio University Law School.

She subsequently joined the Tokyo Marunouchi Office of the Sanwa Audit Corporation (now Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu Limited).
Later, she established her own CPA’s office and served in a number of positions, including her current position as an external auditor of Shidax Corporation.
